                        Notes on How to play the Riff:

For ease of explaining I'm just going to divide this into three positions 1, 2, and 3
The three positions stay pretty much the same themselves with just a changing order that they are played in
                                                                
Also, you can palm mute a large part of the riff like the song does if you want.
It sounds good either way to me but palm muting tends to fit better with the lead and vocals.

Important Note: 
For Position 1B just play Position 1 the same but with a downstroked 5th fret A string added at the end 
Some oomph on this ending 5th fret A is highly recommended lol
